Lakewood Ranch Medical Centre Invests US$120 million to Open New Patient Tower

Introduction:

Lakewood Ranch Medical Centre invests US$120 million to open new inpatient bed tower on the hospital’s campus.

Features:

The new patient tower will significantly bolster the capacity to serve residents of Lakewood Ranch and neighbouring areas, and increase licenced beds from 120 to 180.

A subsequent phase of construction will add another 60 beds, bringing the total licenced capacity to 240, effectively doubling our current bed count.

This new facility will integrate cutting-edge medical technology and patient- centred design to enhance healthcare delivery.

Key Features of the New Patient Tower:

  1. Expanded Capacity: By adding 60 beds initially (with potential for another 60 later), we will greatly improve our ability to meet the rising healthcare demands of our community.
  2. Innovative Medical Technology: The new tower will incorporate state-of-the-art medical advancements to ensure top-notch care for our patients.
  3. Comfort and Healing: Designed with patient-centric principles, the tower aims to create a calming and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
  4. Specialised Care Units: Dedicated units within the tower will cater to specific medical needs, further enhancing our capability to provide comprehensive healthcare services.

The new tower is slated to open in late 2025 upon completion of construction.
